The star of my first growing season. Purple Lagos Celosia is known for being a very hardy flower and for its edible leaves. However, I’ve been growing this plant solely for its beautiful flowers that last long once cut and dry very well.
Long, purple, plume flowers on long stems. Seed to harvest is about 90+ days. One packet contains 50 seeds.
Celosia prefers daytime temperatures above 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Seeds are tiny so do not bury them too deep. Simply cover seeds lightly with soil or vermiculite.
